Effective foot bathing

Good foot bathing practice can help to treat and control infectious diseases, especially digital dermatitis, in the whole herd. It can also be helpful in situations of widespread heel erosion or soft soles. However, foot bathing can be ineffective or even detrimental if not appropriately carried out.
