Improving indoor underfoot surfaces

Poor underfoot surfaces within the cows’ housing can cause trauma to the cows’ feet, especially when cows are forced to turn in small areas or when concrete is eroded or broken. Brand new concrete can also cause increased wear and lead to thinning of the sole horn.
