The Healthy Feet Project Risk Assessment

A form for carrying out a on farm risk assessment for lameness can be found under the Printable risk assessment form option below. Printing this out provides a guide as you look around the farm considering the possible causes of lameness.

Help sheets are also available for certain areas, eg. Cubicle dimensions and nutrition.

Once the risk assessment form has been filled out you can then log in and enter your answers into the risk assessment online. This will generate a list of priority areas for improvement, which can be split according to lesion. So, for example, if White Line disease is selected as the most problematic lesion on farm, the highest risk factors for this will be listed. This helps users to make a more individual and manageable action plan
