Clinical signs of diarrhoea, anorexia and lameness were seen in 11 of 25 steers and 4 of 4 cows grazing on Melilotus alba pasture with high Mo concn, growing in slightly alkaline soil. Parenteral administration of Cu produced a remission of symptoms
